The Forbeck Foundation marked a major milestone on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, with its inaugural "State of the Forbeck Foundation" webinar, officially launching its 40th-anniversary celebrations. Moderated by Executive Director Jamie Collins, the event reflected on the foundation's impactful journey and explored the future of cancer research.  

Distinguished speakers included:

• W. Kimryn Rathmell, MD, PhD, MMHC: CEO of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute
• Doug Green, PhD: Principal Investigator, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
• Gráinne Owen: Founder, Curing Kids Cancer
• Zuzana Tothova, MD, PhD: Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School, and Investigator, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
• Peter Winter, PhD: Principal Investigator, Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard  

This groundbreaking event set the tone for a year-long celebration of innovation and collaboration in the fight against cancer.
